| STATEMENT OF FAITH At Rescue Ministries International, our faith is anchored in the unchanging truth of God’s Word. We affirm the historic teachings of Scripture and seek to proclaim the gospel with clarity, humility, and conviction. Our mission is to call believers back to the sufficiency of Scripture and to encourage careful examination of all teachings in the light of God’s revealed truth. The Holy Scriptures We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. Scripture interprets Scripture and stands above human tradition, private revelation, and ecclesiastical authority. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” — 2 Timothy 3:16 The One True God We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power and glory. God is sovereign over all creation, holy in His nature, righteous in His judgments, and perfect in love. The Person of Jesus Christ We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, revealed the Father, performed mighty works, and willingly offered Himself as the once-for-all sacrifice for sin through His death on the cross. He rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and now serves as our High Priest and Advocate. Salvation is found in Christ alone. The Holy Spirit We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who believe, and indwells every follower of Christ. He guides believers into truth, produces spiritual fruit, and empowers a life of holiness and faithful witness. The Spirit never contradicts the Scriptures He inspired. Humanity and Sin We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell through sin and is therefore spiritually lost apart from divine grace. All people stand in need of redemption, which cannot be earned through works, religious observance, or moral effort. Salvation by Grace Through Faith We believe salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Christ’s finished work on the cross is fully sufficient for our redemption. No human mediator, additional revelation, or religious system can add to what God has completed through His Son. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, declared righteous, and adopted into the family of God. The Sufficiency of Christ We believe Jesus is the complete and final revelation of God for salvation. His atoning work is entirely sufficient, rendering unnecessary any system that places believers back under spiritual bondage or fear. Believers are called to live in the freedom of the gospel, not under the weight of legalism. The Church We believe the Church is the spiritual body of all who have been born again through faith in Christ. Its mission is to glorify God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and grow believers toward maturity. Christ alone is the head of the Church. Testing All Things We believe Christians are called to examine every teaching carefully and compare it with Scripture. Truth does not fear examination. Any doctrine that diminishes the sufficiency of Christ or elevates human authority above Scripture must be lovingly but courageously challenged. “Test all things; hold fast what is good.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:21 The Return of Christ We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. This future hope calls believers to live with readiness, faithfulness, and unwavering devotion. Our Commitment Rescue Ministries International exists to: Proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ Call believers back to biblical authority Equip Christians to discern truth from error Encourage spiritual freedom in Christ Stand firmly on Scripture without compromise We seek to speak the truth in love, rescue those burdened by spiritual confusion, and point all people to the transforming power of God’s Word.
